I've been wanting some of these for about a year now. I have set my appointment up at ye ole optomitrist. I'm open for suggestions. I haven't nailed down the style I want yet. Take some time to look at them all and tell me what you think. I will be sporting them at the jump.

Back when I was a younger man, I used to ask a lot of girls out on dates. About one in 5 would tell me they were frightened of/repulsed by my prosthesis. I appreciated the honesty.
Course the other 4 just wouldn't say why.

Scar, gimp, prosthetic - anything else he couldn't help - sure I'd go on a date. But deliberately disfiguring his appearance with creepy contacts? ...that's just too weird for me...
If I was a guy I wouldn't date girls with implants or tattoos...

Well, the tat is on my left shoulder, about 7.5 cm diameter, represents the life and death of my best friend and circles the Hebrew symbol for eternal life.

Get laid because of weird contacts? I doubt it, and that should never be a true motive. But give them to a single guy, let him hit the town and I can guarantee they will strike up conversation. (even with some of those "nice" girls). It wont make you "cooler" but it may open a door. I don't think any certain demographic should be singled out here.

Good point, but if these things are chosen for whatever reason, this may be that door again. Getting them to talk is sometimes hard enough. Once that door is open, and they see that inner beauty you seem to have, then those add on's become nothing more than accessories much like shoes, belts, necklaces, etc. By this time (if all has gone well) they only see the inner you anyway.
Its your choice how you look and its your choice what you are willing to put up with in appearance from your friends and loved ones.

I have ear peircings, four of them. I got them because I wanted them. I only were earrings when I feel like it. Hmp, quess that's just me too.

I think you should get solid black or solid white - even covering the pupil - that way you could pretend you were blind and get all sorts of government bonuses... not to mention they pity of soceity.
Just imagine being able to legally park in the handicapped slots and all the discrimination lawsuits you could stir up...

Hmm. Billyman, I think you should go for it if you want to. I wouldn't turn down a guy for a date because of the weirdness of his contacts.
In fact, I think its rather refreshing to see guys that have taken their personality a bit further and display it in their style of dress or their body.
If someone were to ditch me because I had nipple rings, a tattoo, my ears peirced, or odd style of dress; I'd chaulk 'em up to be a close minded fuck who is looking for the exact thing I'm not.
I'm not particuarlly attracted to guys who look the exact same as everyone else walking the streets.
But as Heather has proven, each of us have our different opinion and tastes in reguard to this.
TheMAC is right, you have to consider what kind of girls are going to be attracted to you because of contacts like that.
