*theMAC comes running down the dock with has tackle box and fishing poles wearing only a puffy orange life vest and a pair of cut off shorts. He huffs and puffs his way down the pier with a cigar in his mouth and a bad sun burn on his face till he trips on a loose plank and falls smack on his face crushing the cigar and banging his nose hard enough to make it bleed. His tackle box bursts open and its contents roll everywhere. He curses as he labors to get back up and still dragging his pole by the tip make sit to the end of the pier.*

You landlubbers are looking at the USS Deyo, DD-989. My new home.

I transfer to Norfolk from Pensacola at the end of the month. Rumor has it she's ready to deploy, so maybe I'll be seeing the Med by summer!

I won't be able to access THT from the ship, but I will have e-mail...I'll need someone to put up my "letters" and write me the responses. Any volunteers?
