Kevin Costner stars in a non-baseball themed movie.

His character's wife dies in an accident and has to get him a message from beyond the grave.

In the spirit of The Sixth Sense and What Lies Beneath, this movie tries to generate suspense by wrapping the plot with the paranormal. If you really like that kind of thing, check it out. If there are other movies that you have a burning desire to see, choose them instead. Catch this one on video in a few months.

There are worse ways I could have killed 1 hour and 45 minutes. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give this flick a 6.

I feel bad for him. He's a good actor, just can't get good parts.

Oh well, he's richer than me, therefor he should die.

Slightly off topic, but what exactly is the point of all these movies?

I sorta scoped it out as saying something about how our lives affect the lives of those we leave behind.

Regardless how you characterise that.....

But they all seem to need a phantom aparition to be able to tell the tale....
Could you imagine the sixth sense being told without ever seeing a ghost?
Or Kevin Kostner "getting the message" from his wife without the intrinsic eerieness?

I can.
