Fun indeed!
Find a point on the grid and try to hit it.
YES takes you toward the top
MAYBE takes you toward the middle
NO takes you toward the bottom
I haven't tried to hit far Left or Right yet.
Much fun!

According to your answers, your political philosophy is on the border of libertarian and left-liberal.
Libertarian
Libertarians are self-governors in both personal and economic matters. They believe government's only purpose is to protect people from coercion and violence. They value individual responsibility, and tolerate economic and social diversity.
Left-Liberal
Left-Liberals prefer self-government in personal matters and central decision-making on economics. They want government to serve the disadvantaged in the name of fairness. Leftists tolerate social diversity, but work for economic equality.
RW will be so proud! :)

Centrist
Centrists favor selective government intervention and emphasize practical solutions to current problems.
They tend to keep an open mind on new issues.
Many centrists feel that government serves as a check on excessive liberty.

I'm a Centrist.
So...ya buncha Libertarian homos.
No, wait, that means I'm open-minded. So...I respect your right to be a buncha Libertarian homos.
Hmmm...nope, still not quite right.
I feel that the government should not be allowed to infringe on your right to be a buncha Libertarian homos, as long as you don't get too liberal about it.
Yes, yes, that's it!! That simple test has captured my essense so clearly and specifically!
Thank God, I thought I was turning Republican...

just to help people understand
i was just curious as to political affiliations here (though i realize that a three minute test is not neccessarily the BEST medium to understand my comrades)
i was also curious as to what percentage of people here are libertarian (what with the generally well accepted fact that this is primarily a libertarian website, that is open minded enough to acce4pt others sometimes ;) )
keep em coming, though i don't want to make anyone feel uncomfortable by forcing them to classify themselves or reveal their political bias in ways other than their arguments

I found myself picking each question to pieces.
I should form an ANAL party. Oh wait. That didn't come out right. Neither did that....
It appears we have a couple new candidates for the Scottish Libertarian Army.
And at least one deserter....
I can't hink of anyone here who is very inconsistant in their posting or their positions.
Hence, much respect for people who have opposing POV's.
But its sorta neat to see a test that actually applies to much of what we know about each other on an everyday basis.
It also reminds you of how you feel about the broad skeletal structure of your politics.
As we get down and dirty with specific cases and scenarios, our philosophy changes a little.
Its good to see where you are plotted on the grid....since we all end up in the same place in the end.

Your Personal Self-Government Score is 80%.
Your Economic Self-Government Score is 50%.
Scores falling on the centrist border are counted as centrist
(I was right on the upper left hand corner of Centrist while my dot was also located on the borders of "Left Liberal" and "Libertarian")
Your Political Philosophy:
According to your answers, your political philosophy is centrist.
