I just finished reading a 467 page book of science fiction.
I think I broke my head.
Good night.

I spent $75 at Barnes and Noble last night.
$45 didn't come up on my receipt, but being the guilt-ridden person I am, I brought them back and paid for them.

It was Ender's Shadow, by Orson Scott Card.
And Rabble, I night have looked at it as life giving me a freebie, but if you felt that you had to go and pay for the books, that's enough for me. I prolly would have paid for them if they were gotten from a mom and pop bookstore, but Barnes and Noble could've had a big helping of "fuck You" in that scenario.
Would've been a nice score tho.

YEAH!!! Orson Scott Card kicks serious ASS!
Was it worth the read, KB?
Rabble: you're a better person than me. I would have laughed at their mistake until Mrs. Kol spanked me and sent me back.
Then I'd come home and make her spank me some more http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/smile.gif

Kol: Yeah, it was. It basically retold Enders Game from Beans perspective. (I'm taking for granted you know of the storyline in Enders game, seeing as how you responded to the autors name)
And for those of you who DONT know what the fuck I'm babbling about, here goes.
Aliens fuck up earth, we fuck them up, We get scared at the thought of them coming back. We build a big as school in space to teach our brightest kids to be the best tactical minds known to history.....
that's just the elad in, I wouldnt want to spoil any of the stroy for any of youse guyz.
If you EVEr felt ostracized, left out, abnormal, any of that, read these books. And if you havent, read them anyway. becuase YOU were the abnormal ones all along, not us. http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/biggrin.gif
Next up: I, Q.. Peter David and John De Lancie. Not really sure if I wanna believe the actor who portrayed a smug Godling co-wrote the book, but suspension of disbelief is the name of the game, after all.

5 words.. baa ba ba ba baaaaaa, you know what I mean....
and now all ya have to do is read it http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/biggrin.gif
"I, Q" was fairly good, not up to Peter David's usual, but then I guess De Lancie DID take up the pen and muddled the mix up a bit.
Kiwi, relent already on that book, the Goddess' do not wish it to be.
