Yes that thread would have been a good debate I think.
I'm torn between the question myself. I'm not sure if same sex marriages should get the same monetary support that heterosexual marriages do. I have no gripes against homosexual people, and have a few homosexual friends, but my personal opinion must stand. It is a interesting question.
Homosexual people are no different from anyone else besides the fact that they prefer the same sex. The idea itself I believe is very unnatural. I'm not trying to sound like the Catholic Church but really.. . x & y, I & O. I'm not sure what to think. The moral side of me wants to say that it's wrong. However marriage is a civil matter isn't it?? ?
