I bought a digital satellite system, bailed on network TV. I watch movies and music videos. I haven't seen a commercial in years except those ones at the beginning of a video tape. I get the local paper and I get my news off the internet.

If I want to know what is happening in Iraq I don't check CNN I look at the Iraqi news stories and other sources that don't put an American spin on it. Of course you have to take the "American Satan" stuff from their perspective and with a grain of salt. You would be amazed at the stuff CNN leaves out. American news is basically entertainment It is no longer about information. The only time you will hear about something important is when it is also entertaining.
