Ever tried using the "print screen button"? Not sure what you are trying to do, but if you just want a picture hit that mother, then open up your favourite graphic software packet and "paste as new image" should be an option in the "Edit" menu.

Depends what you want to do, I had a shareware version of Flash 5 and really enjoyed playing around with it, although at the end of the day it's got some pretty frustrating features. That might be due to my incompetence, but a friend of mine who had just designed a Flash website called the program "Dumb".
I'm looking towards going as much "Open Source" as I can, I like the ethic, everyone contributing etc., no profits, it's the socialist in me. Haven't done a lot of research into it graphics wise, but interactive wise open source rocks.
Maybe Kayla can give some pointers, she knows her way round the "Gimp", a freeware graphics package.
If you do decide to splash out and buy Flash you will be heartened to know that upgrading only means paying for the upgrade.
Check out http://www.phpforflash.com/board/ for a forum made in Flash. I bought the guys book, the database(Mysql/PHP)/Flash connection has big possibilities.

Was checking out some prices today and clicked on Flash 5, jesus on a stick, about $500 US, you'd have to be considering making a living from it to pay that much.
I had more fun when I discovered the barebones graphics program that came with a cheesy scanner I bought, than I ever had with Flash.
