Rogue, has the HyperTribe not evolved into exactly what you thought it should be? If so, is what the HyperTribe has become repugnant to you? Did you expect grandiose essays in response to various issues of which you have started topics?
I feel I have contributed adequately. I'm not as eloquent nor informed as some of my fellow tribals, but I do contribute when I feel I have something worthy of posting.
I'm not well informed on all of the issues discussed here. Several times, a topic or idea has prompted me to do further research on my own. I'm sure many others have done likewise. In short, when I'm not well versed in a subject, I tend not to post, but I usually walk away from my computer better informed for having visited this forum.
We are a diverse crowd. Being pro-active and outspoken is all too often set aside because our energies are demanded by our more immediate obligations (ROCKS vs. PEBBLES and SAND) and the daily trials and tribulations we endure to meet those obligations.
I'm not making excuses. I'm offering my perspective.
If you are disappointed with the HyperTribe, I can accept that. However, if you feel that the HyperTribe is a failure, and it seems to me you have insinuated that more than once, then let me say I strongly disagree. Additionally, I can't help but to also feel a tad insulted.
I'll end this post by saying I believe I understand where you are coming from.
And to quote your favorite politician: I feel your pain.
