ok this has got me all angry...almost every site i visit..i get those damn javascript popups..is there anyway i can shut them off?? or do something about this..thanks in advance

Open internet explorer,

tools,
internet options,
Internet Options menu comes up.
select the Security tab.
now, u'll see an icon with the earth (internet), and a green check mark (trusted sites) and a red minus (Restricted sites).
click on the internet where it highlights
then click the Custom Level button
the Security Settings menu displays.
Scroll down to Microsoft VM,
then click disable java. then ok it.
but ur not thru there, to be on a safe side,
click the Advanced Tab
scroll down until u see Microsoft VM.
uncheck Java console enabled & java logging enabled.
if they're already uncheck, just hit the ok button. it may require u to reboot. I hope that helps.

Check your add/remove programs and see if you have any sort of "browser enhancement" installed. There are some sites that use clandestine ("Click Here to Enter") methods to install programs that are the pop-up equivalent of the monster generators from Gauntlet. The most infamous of these is done by www.gohip.com (http://www.gohip.com) and you have to use their <a href="http://www.gohip.com/remove_browser_enhancement.html">uninstall program</a> to get rid of it.

1. go to http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/search.asp
2. choose your Virtual Machine from the "protduct name" menu
3. IF the operating system option does not show your version of windows change it.
4. Click find it and select the latest Virtual Machine build (not debug classes)
