Ok. Most of you have some kick ass sigs that you're really proud of, and that's cool. One problem though: Some of them are just too fucking big. I shouldn't have to horizontally scroll through a thread to read all posts just because of one or more big ass signature is making the page too wide.

maybe you should change from your 320*200 resolution to a bit larger one like 1168 or something http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/biggrin.gif

See, first you select a sig that fits your description, save it, perform the necessary alterations and then provide the new version as an alternative.

Which ones in particular, Mudflap?

Aparently Netscape's server is having cholesterol problems. Probably from people like me who use it as a host for posting on other sites. Give it a few minutes if you can't see the gifs (I can't).

There is something to be learned from a rainstorm. When meeting with a sudden shower, you try not to get wet and run quickly along the road. But Kol buddy, I don't have the skillz necessary to alter anyone's signature.

Not to be singling anyone out in particular, but here are two sigs I borrowed to illustrate my point. When threads contain sigs the size of these, the page widens and it becomes necessary to horizontally scroll.

These sigs kick much ass, but do they have to be as large as they are? I'm going to go explore Poteen's suggestion of changing my resolution settings. Here's hoping my Atari can handle it. No offense intended toward Fallen Angel nor FocusedRage.

...any suggestions 'bout what I can do to make the crosshairs look more like a scope? (I'm thinking about putting a LIGHT opacity on the inside of the scope, and from the first circle to the ends of the crosshairs, putting black, so it looks more like a scope...whaddya think??)

'bout the sig size = sorry - didn't even think about it - I keep my monitor at 1024x768 so naturally - I didn't have a problem - here is a sig at 500 width, so that should solve problems for most everyone - if you still are having problems, and your monitor is set at 800*600 - lemme know, otherwise, if you have your monitor set below that, or you dont have the window maximized - TO FUCKING BAD! http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/biggrin.gif heh heh heh...

I have 1168*800-something and I haven't had to scroll horizontal yet.. So with me all of your sigs are fine!

Nope. Sorry. I would but mine was a gift from Po. He doesn't work cheaply. I had to hire three hookers for him just for that one gif.

He may do one for you if you talk sweet shit to him, though. He's a pushover.
