Not so much where I live. However a 10 minute drive to the bush will almost ensure a sighting. Kangaroos are rather plentiful, as are joeys.

I heard the gun ban there netted less than one quarter of the guns estimated to be in your country. Without incriminating yourself what do you think of the situation there? There was also supposed to be an overnight increase in crime. You live in probably the most unique continent on earth. Too bad they had to fuck it up.

Have you encountered the bulldog ant? I hear they are more dangerous than our American rattle snakes. I guess they can move pretty quick also.

Crime in Australia has been steadily decreasing since the early 90s. Murders by firearms in Australia average about 20 cases
per year.

I think the ban was necessary, proper, and a fucking good decision personally. John Howard, after the Port Arthur massacre made gun ownership near impossible unless you're on a farm, or part of a gun club. I have no problem with it.

As for it fucking the country up. I think you're dead wrong. All I know is that if you remove guns from homes, less kiddies decide to have target practice at school. I know you will mention stabbing, but I think that it is a damn sight easier to shoot someone (much less 35) than to stab one (or 35) without being apprehended.

I know alot of you will disagree, probably with good reason, self defence springs to mind, however, John Howard did me proud.
