If you tell me what you plan to do with it, I may be able to help. Wankle had a lot of versions.

I know that the old Mazda's used to have them, I think the RX series. They also fit into the VW buses that hippies used to drive in the 60's although the lid doesn't close properly.
So what's the plan Rogue, going to grow your hair and head on down to Woodstock?

however, mine will still have the mount there for that coaxiel machine gun, which I............................. uh................... http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/eek.gif I dont know who's watching, but lets just say that in the reserves, a large amount of ammunition and weapons are 'lost'. Including M-60's.

There were two rotary engines installed in RX-7's.(12A and 13b)
Both will do what you want Rogue. Here (http://www.sunautorx7.com/Sun_Auto_Cars_&_Parts.htm#Parts) is one place that sells them, and I am waiting for responses from a few other places as well.

Would it be worth your while to look in a junkyard?
Or perhaps here (http://www.monito.com/wankel/j-wankel.html) ?
No matter, this project is one that requires documentation. It reminds me so much of the days I planned to build a TriMuter and/or a GryroCopter. Dangerous vehicles to say the least. Almost as dangerous as waking your girlfriend with a slap on the forehead.

Dreams sometimes wake me up.
Sometimes they aren't mine.

I can relate to that.
Although I can't say I avoid dreams with consciousness.
But that's me. http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/smile.gif

Sometimes "big" salvage yards are contracted with some engine remanufactures and sell them at fair prices. I doubt anyone can find a brand new Wankel. Even if you did the price tag would be quite harsh. If it were me in the market for such, it's where would I probably make my purchase.(me working at an engine remanufacturing shop myself). They come with a warranty and everything. Rogue might extend his search to some engine reman. companies to cut out the middle man, they do have there markup.
