I've been asked this before in philosophy, so I already knew sorry - but, I still find it very interesting.
You really can't judge a book by its cover, one of the nicest/smartest people I know has no formal education, is a raving alcoholic, and comes from a very dodgy background.
What I find interesting is that Hitler did what he did out of love for germany, and in the name of god. Many others have had similar inspiration yet done good things with it. It goes to show really that although one might be courageous, innovative, loving, motivated and dedicated - they can still be a fucking wanker.
It is weird when you consider that the fore mentioned traits are usually considered virtues. Hell, no one could say that polpot lacked tenacity http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/wink.gif. I think it was Aristotle that said that it was more virtuous of a man full of hate to be nice to his neighbour than it was for a man full of love to do the same thing (something like that anyway).
