For one, you might want to read the post through a little bit more thouroughly next time RW, instead of letting your anger get the best of you. I have always heard it is best not to let your emotions get the best of you. What I said is far from being a demand. I put out there what I would rather have happen. Namely, that you relinquish the name to THT posters as a group. And also, from that point on, have a group of willing Hypertribers split the cost of hosting/bandwidth/ect. You say in your first post you would still retain control over this, and will still shell out money for it, even though you have no intentions of ever posting here again. What happens when you get tired of paying for it? Why, it will be shut down. What happens when you wanna shuck the responsibility? Why, we are the one that is going to lose out and suffer, not you. Why not let people who invest time into it pay for it and run it? It is common fucking sense. What isn't common sense is to continue paying for something that you say you will not use (via your own admission) ever again. So again, demands, they were not, as to those comments being ironic (i.e. - The use of words to express something different from and often opposite to their literal meaning), please explain. I dont see the irony in it anywhere.

Ok, you do own this, and that is why I say relinquish control of it. You yourself admitted that you have no intent of posting here. The only thing you will be involved in is writing a check each month/year for the hosting. Again, what happens when you get tired of paying for it, or dont want the responsibility? Easy - IT GETS SHUT DOWN. This of course will affect you in no other way than the fact that you will have more money in your pocket. In other words, shutting it down would positively benifit you, while negatively benifit us. Can we trust you? I dont know if we can. That is why I say relenquish control to the hypertribers willing to take on the responsiblity, because they plan on coming back here and they plan on investing more time in it. I would be willing to be one of those, as I am sure that there are plenty others who would also.
And the problem with me leaving is this: I like to think I have developed friendships amongst these people, albiet "online" ones, and also, many of the people here DO have character, and I DO respect. That is why I dont want to leave. In fact, I have so much respect for some of these people, it outweighs the fact that I have to sort through the piles of shit you leave laying around to find it.
I made this place. I own every common variation of the name (.org, .net, .com) but you're welcome to get one of the new desginations and make yourself a flag-waving mindless drone commune if you like.

One you have no authority to make, because, frankly, you dont have the knowledge of everyone in the US to make such a generalization. 1.) Your hypocritical nature
2.) Your idea that because you think this way, or you think that way, that you are better than most other people, and everyone else is "sheeple."
3.) This relates w/ point 2, but I will make it seperate: Your continuous generalizations about the public are grossly distorted and all too broad. You think you know other people when you dont. You isolate a few people who may not be to bright, and you classify the whole populace of the united states of america as such, when that is not the case.
4.)You claim to have patriotism, yet never see the good that is in this country and the good that this country can bring about. All you can focus on is the bad.
5.) You do nothing to bring about change of what you see as bad, because in your ignorant mind, you see your only options as (and remember, this is your own admission):
a.) this forum
b.) killing people
(when, of course, you do have many other options, if you choose to acknowledge them, and follow them. Of course, they are not so easy as creating a forum or killing people....maybe the reason RW doesn't choose to pursue them, but who knows)
6.)You lie, and when you are about to be found out, you hide in more lies, and more, until the bullshit gets piled so high, you have to take a more drastic measure, for example, shutting down the forum, and only opening if NOONE talks about what happened, because you are scared of what this will reveal about your TRUE character.
I have also seen some amazing people come through here, and for some reason, after seeing all that, still respecting you. Why, I have no idea. Maybe they choose to ignore it, maybe they dont, but I am of the mindset that you have to EARN respect, and that respect that you do earn, is in most regards earned by your character, and the way that your character is reflected in your actions.
Unfortunately, your actions reflect someone of little to no character.
