If this guy can sell these (http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1299035017) things. It will mean we all have a chance to do so. I'll make millions!! http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/rolleyes.gif

Isn't it illegal to sell those for profit?

It's amazing what they are selling on E-Bay. While browsing through the millions of bargains one day, I came across some people selling Gift Cards from Home Depot. Now, at that time, you could return gift cards for cash. That's why it made no sense for a person to sell something at partial value that they could just take to the Depot and redeem for full value. The catch is, the cards are worthless until you take them through the register and get them validated. Anybody can just pick them up and take them without paying for them. I notified e-bay about the possible fraud and they sent me a reply about how that's not really their problem. Good to see such a reputable company standing behind you. I started notifying bidders of the possible fraud and word apparently got back to the sellers. I had some really pissed off e-mails from people telling me to "mind my own business." To hell with them, this was fun. Eventually the cards disappeared from the auction site. HD no longer gives cash back for gift cards and has set up an Internet Fraud department to watch for those kinds of things.
