I want to take the time to clarify something. I very rarely raise my voice around here but this must me said. A lot of you got freedom of speech and expression mixed up with anarchy. Here at the tribe you can say what you wish as long as what you say does not has the intention of being hurtful to someone, such as racial slurs. If you sell drugs, or plan to rob a bank or even crashing someone's server... That shit is illegal and has no place here. Those type of things can have a negative impact on all of us.
Yes we live in a free society but you can't run into a theater and scream FIRE!!! I like to see you claim "freedom of speech" when your ass get dragged out in handcuffs.
I am not directing this thread at no particular person it's just I needed to express my thoughts on this. Remember freedom of speech DOES NOT EQUAL anarchy.. There are rules and guidelines for every aspect of our lives.
Believe it or not without those guidelines, there would be chaos. If you don't believe me just venture over to the Project and see for yourself. That place is in the toilet and it stinks like hell.
When me and RW was conceiving this place the one thing that kept coming up was that we didn't want this to be another Stile Project. We meant it and we are going to stick to it.
My first visit to the project was very unpleasant. I had so many hateful people attack me simply because of my skin color. After a couple weeks, I began to figure that these people were not redeemable in anyway so I left.
Then there was that punk move by Stile, when he demoted RW simply because he pissed off a few assholes. That was the last straw in my book so I floated the ideal of starting our own forum and the rest is history. The point I am trying to make is, an organization with rules and guidelines and won't cross certain lines is usually the group with self respect and integrity.. I want that to be absolute image that we project. That will encourage others to join us.
I don't want this forum to be passed over because we look too much like the other place. I want them to know that the HyperTribe is a cool place to hang out at. I want to let people know that you can bring different ways of thinking to the table without being attacked by your peers. And everybody has to help. You guys make this place work, hell I am just the maintenance man http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/biggrin.gif if something breaks I fix it.
I promise I won't lock this topic and I do want feedback from all.
