Fuck this state.

I get home from work this morning, and boredom creeps upon me. I got nothing to do at all. So i roa around my apartment a little bit.. See my SKS and AR15 Rifles in the closet and decide they need a good cleaning. This was all very standard i've done it before and never had a problem.

As always i take the guns to my table and take them out f their little cases. I lay them out. I get my cleaning tools and i go to town.

Now let's stop here for a second. Seems harmless right?? A guy cleaning his guns. His window open because it's a fucking sauna. Nothing terribly out of the ordinary.

I've always had this black neighbor. Fuck you if you think i'm a bastard for not calling him an african american. Anywho, this fucker has hated me since the day i moved in. I have no fucking clue why, probably a classic angry b;ack man syndrome that plagues most of our dark brothers. Needless to say this fucker is just an asshole.

So i'm cleaning my guns, my window is open and this fellow walks past my window and sees what i'm doing. He gives me one of those "you aint shit" looks and i kindly just tip my hat as a sarcastic hello.

Not twenty munutes later i have cops at my door, three squad cars in the parking lot. Like i'm fucking david koresh and shit. Three hard knocks on the door. I answer and get the standard greeting of "lets see those hands up"

Fucking bullshit.

I got a ticket for brandishing a weapon. Fucknuts even went so far as calling me a neo nazi. Said i poited my weapons at him and caled him a nigger.

So now i'm sittin on a 400 dollar ticket. I got a ticket for having no social interaction with a man who clearly hated me. I got a ticket because i kept to myself. I got a ticket because I was in MY home cleaning MY guns with MY window open. And my statement didn't mean a damn. They threatened to take my weapons but i knew they wouldn't do shit.

Fuck i'm pissed. I need a bath.

Take it to the Judge. It is your word against his and if there has been no previous encounters with him and the law, then I would imagine little could happen other than a warning to clean your weapons with the curtains drawn.
I might suggest taking out a restraining order against him also. You are telling the cops you don't want trouble with him and youare trying to work with the law (even if it sux).

That's insane?? ? Unless you tipped your hat with the same hand that was holding the gun that's stupid. Even if you were it's still your word against his. Wheres the evidence? You were in your house not doing anything to anyone. He is the one that intruded when he looked in there.

You could have complained that he was a peeping tom or spying or something.

And no i didnt tip my hat with the gun hand they were both on the table. It kills me that he made it a racial thing to.

You really should bring it to court. If you explain everything clearly, the judge will have to pardon the ticket and the whole ordeal because it is plain that you did nothing wrong. Let's just hope that he isn't a former Black Panther or something.

What is to say he won't do it again?
You now have a "record" you must clear it!
Even if you clear it, this incident is something that can be used against you in court guilty or no. Get the restraining order. Press charges on filing a false police report. Get a phony witness. Say a friend that was "in the next room". Strike back now or you are at a disadvantage from now on.
I know what I said is unethical but it is only a suggestion. I can't stress enough you need to protect yourself.

Less effort than digging up $400 I would imagine.
In cases like this where there is no witness, the judge must rely on his impressions.
A BIG hint. Tell the truth, nothing but the truth. Judges are usually VERY good at detecting BS, let him do the lying. If the Judge sees a single bit of BS out of him and none out of you... You won.
Hint 2. Keep it simple, long drawn out explainations can get you in trouble.

If you just pay the fine you are tacitly admitting guilt. Now guess what happens the next time this asshole stirs something up? You go down. You will have little defense if you already have a strike against you.

It's worth the effort to take it to court.
