View Full Version : Latenight Politics and a state of insanity

Politics. Better yet, politicians. Wortless? I'd like to think so. Will they ever leave? Nope. Will they ever do any real good? I doubt it.

A politician to me, is the same thing as the President of a high school class. They don't really have any plans, and won't ever do anything real productive. What they do have is a lot of people who like them. They are athletic, attractive, daddy is rich, and can speak well. Isn't it amazing, that no matter how smart someone is, how amazing and absolutly fool proof their ideas are, if they don't have money, no one gives to shits or a wet fuck? I think that blows.

I will never become the public figure I want. My parents both work. My mother is a nurse, graduated college at the age of 35 with a 3.95 GPA (almost perfect), while raising two sons and a husband. My dad just took over a business. They will probably never become millionairs. I will never have enough money to make myself known. No one will vote for me because I don't have money.

People are sad. Not emotionally, but they are just pathetic. If little Johnny makes the soccer team, and Suzy is in on the Volleyball team, Daddy makes money and Mommy gets to shop, they don't care. If neither mom nor dad work, live on welfare, and fuck just to make more babies, they don't care. When will people wake up and realize what is going on around them?

The United States of America is headed for a drastic downfall. I'm not talking about the economy, I'm talking about what this Country is all about. In the 1700's, the people of this great Nation fought and died just to be free from a King. The people wanted to govern themselves. Not have someone tell them how to live their lives.

Right now, it seems like were back at square one. Everyday more and more of our freedoms are taken away. It was written that citizens have a right to assemble peacefully. Oh, not anymore. You have to get a permit, and approval. If I were to peacefully protest something, with a few people, I couldn't do it without a politician telling me it's allright.

Every citizen has a right to keep and bear arms. Although I feel no need to carry a gun, I really wish I would. I have a right to. Every single time the government makes a new law restricting gun possession, they are one step closer to CONTROLLING our lives. This cannot be allowed.

I've so much more to say. So much more to do. And I will slowly bring it all out. But tonight is not the time to reveal everything my great mind ponders day in, and day out. I must retreat to my humble state of sleep, for tomorrow holds a massive Biology exam. Goodnight.

what i am about to say will be HIGHLY unpopular... but i will say it nonetheless

you complain (as a country) about 'those fucking immigrants' who come from countries much worse than yours.

those 'fucking wetbacks' who come across the border to escape the poverty of mexico are shunned and booted... your statue of liberty reads 'give me your tired, your weak, your huddled masses' but has not YET been ammended to 'unless they are fucking commies'..

your citizens complain about life in your country while you try to govern the world...

the problem with america is that everyone whines too much.. nothing is ever done, by not voting in anger... you assure an ass will take office... you are an apathetic nation, you complain but do nothing and dont realize exactly how lucky you are... canada is a nice place, but its fucking impossible to make any money here... we have a higher college graduate percentage (i was told this in school.. no paper to back it up) and are widely sought for jobs in other *ahem* countries.. and yet in speaking to your citizens i have found you as a country to be widely misinformed not only to our intelligence but to our weather as well...
YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU FOR HIGH PAYING JOBS AND YOU WONT FILL THEM

you sit on your asses day after day and WATCH them steal your liberties because they can.. and you wont stop them... but i hear noone complain half as much as you...

your liberties are not that far gone, and salvation is available through certain less orthodox political candidates, but yet they dont win.. that means that things either aren't that bad, or your populous is so uninformed and ignorant that they don't know how to help themselves...

i guarantee you if welfare was abolished that your murder rate would rise drastically as people who your country deems unemployable fight to SURVIVE.. and yet you complain about the taxes taken to keep the peace...

your words will do nothing, actions will...

but i personally think your complaining is all a bunch of fucking bullshit and that you need to get over yourselves fucking quick

*note.. canada is no utopia... not claiming so nor am i claiming superiority to you in ANY WAY... just pointing out some observations i have made and some resentments i have aquired

*note.. sorry.. after rereading a little disjointed but dont have the time nor energy to completely reorganize it..

<font color=#p9b5d1>i have always said that we have enough problems here without having to send "aid" to other countries. i believe that it is a fallback to the cold war, we were too used to getting in the way of communism. although i have to say in defence that because we send the majority of troops in a UN affair, we get the brunt of ppls discontent</font>

<font color=#p9b5d1>this goes with the taxes thing that you mention below, but we have to pay for our medicine</font>
and yet in speaking to your citizens i have found you as a country to be widely misinformed not only to our intelligence but to our weather as well...
<font color=#p9b5d1>um, well...i can't speak for most of the ignorance rampant in our country, most ppl almost think that maine is a part of canada, but i know the difference being so close to canada, and having a sister that lives in toronto. mostly i tend to spout canuck jokes to get a rise out of you all, no offense http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/biggrin.gif</font>

<font color=#p9b5d1>must be the proximity to the US http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/wink.gif http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/tongue.gif</font>

<font color=#p9b5d1>this sadly is true, i voted for Harry Browne, and was only one of two ppl in my district that voted for him. Most ppl are so close minded to only think of the two major political parties in the states, even then they think its a lesson in futility to vote for someone other then R or D. What i would like to tell them is there must be numerous ppl that feel as they do, if you all actually voted that way, it would actually make a difference. Not by voting for the lesser of two evils which just proprogates this absurdity</font>

i guarantee you if welfare was abolished that your murder rate would rise drastically as people who your country deems unemployable fight to SURVIVE.. and yet you complain about the taxes taken to keep the peace...
<font color=#p9b5d1>here is where we differ a bit, i believe not in totally abolishing the welfare state, just put a time limit on it. This may come from me working at a grocery store and watching these ppl with food stamps buying instead of bulk that they could use, rice, cereal, meat. They instead buy a grocery cart full of frozen foods, they then send their children with big bills to buy candy, to make change. so they can go to another store to buy their cigarettes.
point being the system is being abused</font>

your words will do nothing, actions will...
<font color=#p9b5d1>amen, or vote like i said above</font>

but i personally think your complaining is all a bunch of fucking bullshit and that you need to get over yourselves fucking quick
<font color=#p9b5d1>ouch dude! there are many things wrong and here is one of them
generalization

<font color=#p9b5d1>it would be a utopia, if you got out of those igloos and got some running water http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/biggrin.gif http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/tongue.gif

<FONT size="4">"I would never join a club that would have <FONT COLOR="Yellow">me</FONT c> as a member"</FONT s> W.C. Fields.

The fact is, any one who <FONT COLOR="Yellow">wants</FONT c> to be a politician shouldn't be.
The job inherently attracts the wrong sort of people. Political nomination should be like jury duty. Nominate 40 people at random and let the people vote for the best one.

Evidence of a acceptance of a bribe or catering to lobbies/special interest results in immediate public execution and #2 steps in.
The right candidate for any post should piss his / her pants when nominated.

Accountability is the key.

Well it would sound better if W.C. Fields had said it. I never heard the whole line before. Thanks.
