I survived... I think

Well, I have officially subbed my first class. It was... interesting. My thoughts of the day run as so:

Period #

1. Jr High PE- you have got to be kidding... I am surrounded by munchkins(about 40). And having the special ed kids there too??? One kid kept talking to god, another kept trying to feel my ass, one was trying to play volleyball and kept passing out, and another threw a soccer ball at me and it landed in a puddle and yes I got splashed.

2. Jr High PE... again- different group this time, only 7 or so. They all played soccer, went by pretty quick. Oh, and a maintenance guy ran off with my briefcase. I thought I was gonna have to hit him to get it back. He thought it was a bomb.

3. High School World History- about 17 kids, and 3 little shits. They figured out that I would be lenient, as in not yell at them as such... but I do stare and I can go a long time without blinking. I just stared at them till they got the hint and did their work. http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/smile.gif The rest did the work and talked quietly... was ok I guess.

4. High School Health- 5 kids. They did the work in about 10 minutes, then one broke out the candy and they all got a suger rush and gees, I know I never got like they did, at least not on candy. They weren't too bad though.

5. Was supposed to do High School Athletics, but the head coach told me that I didn't have to if I didn't want to, that he and the other coaches had it covered if I wanted to get lunch. So I did.

6. Was supposed to have lunch duty but the secretary told me I didn't have to and go to lunch. hehe.

7. A conference period. What am I supposed to conference? I am a sub.

So, in effect, I had a 3 hour lunchbreak.

8. High School World History. About 20 kids. All pretty good. But gees... why didn't high school girls look like this when I was in school? I couldn't keep my eyes where they belonged. There was one... and her telling me she doesn't wear underware... 38D... 5'3", maybe 110lbs... yowzers. That and the girl with the real short skirt... I could tell she didn't have on panties. Course, she sat on the first row and kept flashing me might have had something to do with that. Then that same group started talking about sex, what they like, etc... gees... 17 is still legal in Texas right? About all I could do not to just grab one and give them first hand knowledge of sex education.

Other than that, not a whole lot else happened. Course that is the short short version. hehehehe.

Maybe I should become a teacher! That's funny! Hehe... on my 3 hour lunch break... I went to lunch, then came back and read some on Umberto Eco's Foucault's Pendulum, great book by the way, edited some of my short stories, started on an essay... get this, I have the oportunity to teach English in Japan. The application is a resume and an essay titled: Why I want to live and work in Japan". Why do you think I want to? It ain't the money, though it is enough to live, etc. But, it's all them damn LBFMs. You know, the Little Bitty Fucking Machines. hehe, anyway... where was I?

Fraturnizing with student??? well, if I could have gotten away with it... maybe. kidding. Though I did almost do something... umm, let me call it, precipitious; as I was walking past the gym, the volleyball girls were working out... holyhellbygoddammingshitfiresavesmatchesjeminyfreakincricket*biting the knuckles just remembering*thatshouldbeillegaltolookthatfukkingoodyowzersAHHHHH!!! cold shower, cold shower, cold shower... you get the idea. Still have a knot on my head from banging it on the wall... geewillikers... whoa! ENOUGH!

Where was I again? Oh yeah, lunchbreak. That's about it.

Well, I DID get offered a teacher/coach position if I get in application in my midterm(December or so). So, if I get the position, yes, I will be there. HA!

And I am not sure if I want to divulge the whereabouts of this school. Call it CYA or CMA in my case. Covering My Ass. Just in case someone already associated with the place does read this.
