There we go. Its a bit of a read, but hey. Any comments? I just think that China has the resources, the ambition, and the will to go the distance on this one. Perhaps sooner than other people expect. Even with some dodgy accounting, their growth has been in double didgits for most of the last decade and the one before than, and even now is still about 5% over a 3 year projected cycle. Strong overseas investment into the country, good advances in labour productivity and capital effectiency, as well as multifactor productivity. Its growing, and fast at that. Building up a sizable military, and starting to get the hard cash to buy the capital equipment to make its own stuff, and having suffecient Rand D to design and make it as well.
