View Full Version : Best ?
What was the best moment in your life? The point in which you looked in the mirror and felt as if you were on top of the world.
What is that exact moment when you stopped to say, this is the best day of my life.
Can be more than one, but please 3 at the most. What was it, and why do you define it as the best?????

"who are these? Why sit they in twilight?
Wherefore rock they, purgatorial shadows,
Drooping tongues from jaws that slob their relish,
Baring teeth that leer like skulls' teeth wicked?
Stroke on stroke of pain, -but what slow panic
Gouged these chasms round their fretted sockets?
Ever from their hair and through their hands' palms
Misery swelters. Surely we have perished
Sleeping, and walk in hell; but who these hellish?"

two evernts come to mind. The tool show a few weeks back, fucking incredible.
And last week. Best week of my life, hands down.
I can list a lot of great days...usually they become great days by balancing out something horrible.
The day I met my wife was a great day now that I look back.
Its the type of thing you can't put on a calender tho.
It sorta canceled out the painful loss of my mother and it started the direction of the rest of my life.
When I think that I may look back one day on 60 years of love with one woman I definately place the day I first saw her on the top of my "Best Day" list.

Probably when I needed to sell a car to get myself over to the other side of the world where a high paying roadie job was waiting for me.
I went to get me two weeks unemployment benefit, the hole in the wall cash dispenser was out of order.
I go inside, I need me money. About 130$ US.
Sorry, we can only give you 90$ US, or else we have to ring and confirm your balance with your local branch.
Ring 'em, I want it all.
No reply, the computers are down, we'll trust you this time though.
Next bank, 90$ US please.

I gave away the car.

Like TA, I really don't have anything to choose from.
I haven't really experienced that feeling yet.

I guess I should atleast answer my own question!
Best Days -
The Birth of my son, It was a very long road, one that the dr. told me would kill me for sure. The greatest moment was sitting there right after his birth, still alive, and holding a healthy beautiful baby boy. They said I wouldn't live, and I did. My life took a whole new meaning that day, and hasn't changed since. Everyday I wake up and he is still with me, is a wonderful day because we are both still living to enjoy it.
Another day that sticks out in my mind is my High School Graduation. I felt great, it was beautiful. The look of pride on my mother's face was priceless. All my friends were there. 4 people that are no longer living hugged my neck and partied with me all night long. And again that night, the look of pride on my moms face when I came home with 8 drunk friends (that didn't even grad that night) and I was the only sober one in the bunch. I was having too much fun to get drunk and had to take care of everyone else. My entire family was together that night, with no argument of who's house it was out and why we did everything at my mom's house instead of my dads. My dad and step-mother were even friendly to my mom and her family. it was great. If I could go back and just tape it all, I would guard that tape with my life, it was definetly one of my best days.
Also, the day I met my SO, was a great day, there have been even better days since we have been together. Realizing that the man i always wanted was right infront of me, and still praying that it never ends. but I cherish those days, i don't know when they will end.

Mine was an 85 and was dubbed "FAT KITT" on account of it being big, black and having a digital speedo/tacho/etc.
Got stolen around 140k kms on it and stripped. I will kill the bastard who did it http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/mad.gif
