what are you're opinions on it? Do you believe that strickter laws on gun ownership violates the second amendment, or do you believe that guns are dangerous and gaining access to them should be made more difficult?

The only gun control I believe in is being able to hit what you're aiming at. Idiot control would be easier and better to regulate. I think everyone has the right to carry a weapon, but should be 100% accountable for his or her actions with that weapon. Even while the weapon is stored. Many people bring up trigger locks and such to help "protect" innocent people from harming themselves or others through careless handling. Trigger locks are imperfect and malfunction. Education is a safer tool than trigger locks. Weapons kept in a house that aren't kept loaded for protection should be stored properly with ammunition kept in a seperate or secure location.
I personally use the Multi-vault (http://www.gunvault.com/) to keep my handguns safe under my bed.
Education. NOT prohibition.

The more difficult it is made for normal law abiding citizens (such as my self) to obtain guns, the easier it is for car jackers, convenient store robbers, muggers, gang members, x-cons, etc. (the list goes on) to take advantage of YOU and ME.

I believe in the freedom for decent, law-abiding adults to own guns.

A more rigorous attempt should be made to keep guns out of the hands of minors but it IS A RIGHT that is to be protected.

By all means. In addition there should be a MANDATORY waiting period of at least a week and registrations should go into a national file. Those caught with an unregistered illegal firearm should be charged with a crime equal to or that of a DWI/DUI.
It is a RIGHT to own a gun but it should carry some stiff stipulations. Face it boys and girls these are rough times we are living in.
I have to go and pray for something or another.
