It seems they acknowledge they are harboring Osama Bin Laden, and they stated that should anyone come onto their soil with the intent of taking Bin Laden, they will react with "revenge"

Not a miitary force, but revenge.

They threatened us with terrorism.

The Taliban currently allows Saudi dissident Osama bin Laden to live in its country but has said it will hand him over if proof is found he is behind the recent terrorist strikes.

It denies he was involved although he is believed to be under house arrest. The US appearing to be closing in on bin Laden as one of the main suspects.

In Afghanistan people are taking to the streets in apparent fear of possible reprisals from the USA. A baker said: "In a situation like this, you feel like death is creeping up on you as we don't know when the attacks will take place. I am leaving Kabul with my family and can't wait any longer."[/quote]

We are going to have to make sure that when a strike is made, its surgical. Kol called it a cancer. You dont cut half a tumor out and leave the other half in to rot away further. It jsut isnt the right way to do things. </FONT c>
