He just wanted to let you know that he was okay ..... he's there in NY right now ...

ZiM XX: its ok. i was outside and watched the 2nd plane crash
ZiM XX: saw the first collapse.

MsPerkins3: or just manhatten?
ZiM XX: still havnt heard from 2 of my coworkers
they shut down the bridges, dunno HOW they wanna evac.
MsPerkins3: did they manage to get the WTC evacuated before the towers collapsed?
ZiM XX: no
ZiM XX: people were jumping from the 70+ floors right before the collapse
ZiM XX: both towers collapsed
ZiM XX: its like a war
MsPerkins3: yeah I know there are reports of SOME palestinians CELEBRATING on the west bank and firing guns

im not in NY now, im across the river... wached the towers collapse and watched the 2nd plane hit.

its surreal

i had class today at 11am so didnt go into work today... on floors that no longer exist.

still waiting to hear from coworkers. took a few hours but finally got in touch with people who got in touch with mom/dad/girlfriend

was woken up this morning by my sister seeing if was alive.

so surreal.

Thank you for that. As I live in Australia I don't know anyone who was directly involved and I had seen Oprah stories but that really hit me how crazy it must have been for the ordinary New Yorker to have witnessed. Thank you for your strength.
