See.. now this is the kind of shit that bothers the hell out of me. I remember watching Blazing Saddles with a bunch of friends and laughing my ass off. This was only five years ago. This year for new year's eve i had a few friends over, and it was on TV at about 2:00 in the morning. I had to turn it off because people felt offended. It's fucking sad when something that was created for comedic bliss is over-turned because society says that making fun is taboo. Fuck hyphenated america. And some of you may not like my next comment but i believe it to be true. I think this country is heading into an era where middle-class white americans are going to be the minority. We're no longer going to have any say. And let's push it even further.. White Middle-Class MALES. We're being pushed further and further back. I couldn't even comment on my secretary looking nivce without her giving me a stern look and teling me it was sexual harassment. Being the director of human resources i had to talk to employees when they were'nt getting things done so i could rule if they were slacking or having problems. I had a very nice young man come in. I didn't even put a thought in about him being black. i told him we've been having problems in his department and there were some complaints about people being ridden too hard by upper management. I asked if it was true, or if "you guys" are slakcing down there. This set off a two week suspension from the office for me. Although it was never taken to court he told my boss that i was insinuating that the black guys down stairs were all slackers adn that i'm a racist. Fuck that.
