...I'm just going to make a pointless post explaining where I've been and where I'm going to be for the next/past few weeks.
As most of you know, I recently moved again to go to college, and it's been nothing but a living hell since I got there. Well, the one good point is that my roommate is really nice.
West Chester seemed like a small city with lots of stuff to do. I couldn't have been more wrong. There is nothing to do there. At least back here in Farmtown, there's Wal-Mart. No places to go. None. At all. And I have no car there (due to lack of parking spaces, only commuters can have cars), and there is almost no public transportation. Well, at least I can sit online. Or so I thought.
I was put in a room that (supposedly) had highspeed access, but, of course, my port doesn't work, so I don't have that. And my phone line has so much interference on it that I can't even use dialup. So I considered moving all my stuff back home this weekend and just commuting (the place is 35-40 minutes away, and while fighting rush hour traffic would suck, at least I'd have some mode of communication).
I go to call my mom to tell her of my plans, when she tells me that I probably shouldn't come home this weekend. My brother went to run water for a bath (why the fuck he doesn't take showers is beyond me) and fell asleep, so the entire basement and main floor of our house is flooded out and tens of thousands of dollars in damage has been done. We have to replace most of the floors and walls in the house. And we don't know if insurance will cover the cost. And there's no way to make my brother pay for it because he can't get a job (the school has to release working papers in order for highschooler's to get a job, and they won't release them for him because he's failing all of his classes). And the smell...well...ugh. It could take up to a year to repair.
Right now, I'm at home on my mom's computer, and it looks like I really won't be around much at all anymore...only on weekends when I have access to the internet. I miss you guys. http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/frown.gif
