When I come here during my time I have free and not getting drunk, here and Stile, and some other places, but here especially, perhaps because RW has only invited people with some mental processing capability, I see so many posts and topics about all of the SHIT that goes on in this world. About how the federal government in the U.S., or more specifically, the hospital system, is threatening to try and take away an old lady's social security, because she has no way of paying it back otherwise. Or the COMPLETELY FUCKED POLITICS that go on at peoples place of work, or how their COMPLETE FUCKWIT roommates shaft them, steal their stuff, and just about get them chucked out of the place. I could go on. You get the idea. Now I agree with A LOT of the sentiment that is voiced, and sometimes I can be the loudest (on the rare occasions that I can spell properly because I don't have to type in the dark so my headache from my hangover doesn't cause me to pass out.). But sometimes I look and all I see is people talking. And does that make us any better that the people who cause all this, if good men (or women (for the femnazi's) do nothing? I saw this on one of the crappy things that stile has up on the top of his front page : If you don't like what you see on the news, go make some of your own.

I challenege all of you to try and do somthing, to get of your cynical, well upholstered backsides and do somthing about what you don't like. Now I know if your complaint is against the new federal budget for some reason, there isn't much you can do. But you could waste 45c (or however much it costs in the U.S.) and write a latter to your local congressman, and get other likeminded souls to do the same. Because if you annoy someone enough they will do somthing about it just to get you to go away (they might get a hitman, but those are the breaks). And perhaps your congressman does care (yeah right, but you never know), and he will speak to someone else, and things will be set into motion. You never may see the result. But at least you have DONE SOMTHING as well as using up my precious dial-up bandwidth listening (or in this case, downloading and reading) what is going on. I will try and do the same thing. It is amazing how much better you feel when you can say "I actually did somthing about it". It's so fucking cliche, I know, but it wouldn't be a cliche unless it was used a lot, and that must be for a good reason..........

Most people lack direction...also, its much easier to change things from the inside than from the outside pushing in...does that make sense??...anyway, I plan on going with the flow, exchanging ideas and not acting on my impulses untill the time is right...prudence is a virtue...read some Machiavelli...

I have no problem with raising awareness. But everything has its limits. I think that most people are aware of the prob. We are in the 1% that does know. So what do we do after that, huh? Tell me? And join US, the tribe? WTF is that? I thought just being here is the tribe? Or is there a circle within a circle?

I will do nothing about anything i bitch about. Without the shit to bitch about i would have nothing to do. So i can do something about my life and give me one less thing to do. This would in effect make my life more worthless. Or i can keep bitching. I take the latter.

Dont you get it? No actually, don't answer that. But don't you see? Shit is a constant. There will always be some of it. But shit is a BAD thing, bad being not good. So if you can do somthing to remove that, it will make your life worth more, as you have less shit to deal with as you have already dealt with some. People are valued by what they have done in life and death, and it has an impact on us all, in some small way. To quote Gladiator - What we do in this life echoes in eternity. What we do now shall alter the world in some way, wither large or so insignificant to be unseen. And altering the world, looking at the state of it, towards the better, would be a good thing, wouldn't it? Get up off your ass and do somthing.
