OMG !
I have been wanting to have this procedure done for years and went as far as seeing a plastic surgeon. I chickened out at the last minute because I knew this could happen.
My bestfriend's sister will be going under the knife in about two weeks to have a reduction and a lift and tuck. I am anxious to see the outcome. I know the odds in this event are not great, but DAMN! Even with the small percentage of patients that this happens to, it really makes you think twice or three times about the price you could pay.

Well... Let's just say.. I don't ever remember wearing one of those cute little training bra's that most of the other girls start out with. I didn't "hit puberty", puberty HIT me. They are just uncomfortable and they do cause a lot of the tiredness in by upper back muscles and shoulders.
I guess my reasons for having the surgery would be for a greater selfimage and comfort.

would you rather have the surgery and wind up with no nipple and an even worse self image?

That is the exact reason I backed out...*shrug*
I will have to do more research to find out what percentage of the procedures go bad. I can't remember off the top of my head but I do remember that it was very low in comparison to the ones that heal perfectly.

Breast reduction is something I have been looking into for years now, but I really don't know if I'm ever gonna have the balls to get it done. Contrary to what people may say, having big breasts does not make you feel attractive. I never felt normal because of them. I would do it for a multitude of reasons...mostly cause it could develop into back problems and I have a job that requires lots of heavy lifting. I don't know if I'll ever do it...

btw: did you look at the other pics of people on the site? Some are just as bad....some look ok. It still looks very painful and disgusting. Before going to such extreme measures to reduce your breast size; try jogging....
also, Im sure it looks the same when someone gets silicon implants (I mean, scarring and such...), has anyone ever seen a girl with implants or who has had a breast reduction in real life? The scars must be very obvious...

*DB has a sad moment*
It is truly depressing to see that someone as attractive as Rabby has diminished self confidence in her appearance.
Why is it the prettier women are the uglier they feel? I am sure Naomi Campbell thinks she is a fat cow. On the other hand Sandra Bernhard thinks she should be in Playboy.
It is saddening to me to know there is no Perfect state for women.

Thanks for the compliment, DB, but you really don't know what it's like to have guys yell degrading remarks at you whenever you go out, be known as the "school slut" just because of your breast size (I've never even had a b/f!), and just basically been thought of as two mounds of flesh since you were in fourth grade. It's disgusting, and it makes you feel like a freak.

I can honestly say I've never even thought about a breast reduction. If I take anything out, there won't be anything left! As for implants, I just don't know if I'd have the balls for it.

The fact remains they are wrong and I am right! http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/biggrin.gif
I know growing up is rough. I went through that but as a boy I was allowed to punch then in the mouth...well not allowed. I got the crap kicked out of me often as not and it didn't help a bit.
Your attitude is depriving some young man the love of his life, and yourself.
Realize you are not that person they were mean to. You grew into an attractive young woman.
Go get em Rabby, and don't take "No" for an answer........
Hint: 98.7% of males would not turn a woman in for rape http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/biggrin.gif
Seriously the High School boys called girls "Sluts" because they wanted them to be. Calling a girl a slut is a masked sexual invite. If you tell them to kiss off they pretend like it was an insult. If you say "Wouldn't you like to find out" they follow you around like a puppy.
Boys suck, find yourself a man!

three thing:
a) what if you don't believe in God?
b) what if you are in absolute agony alreday because of back problems?
c) what percentage of breast reduction actually end up like those pictures?

If you don't believe in God then guess you had better party as much as possible while your on this planet.. Once you die everything will just go black.
If you have a medical AND NOT cosmetic reason to have the reduction surgery I guess it would be okay in that situation.
What do the numbers matter? The risks are there aren't they? You roll the dice every time you under the knife for any operation. It seems petty to me to risk your health or life because you boobies are a little too big.

they matter too me because my fiance may be having the operation because of the medical reasons I mentioned.
You're right there is always a risk. But as a gambler I liked to know the probabilty of the risk to let my SO know.

You take a risk of dying or being horribly disfigured for life every time you get in a car too. Does that ever keep you from driving?
If I ever get mine done, it will be primarily for medical reasons. I have constant back pain and it's starting to affect my ability to do my job. That's where I draw the line and see it as necessary.
