The same topic came up on the SPF a while back. What troubles me with invisibility is that you would be blind as well, theoretically.

I would have the power to stop or advance time at will. But I guess I can do this already in some form...

I DO have a super-power/special ability.

Mine is the ability to learn
from the mistakes I've made
and by observing the mistakes
of others.

Here's how I do it.

First, Lets say I'd
done or said a particular thing
and as a result , I suffer a
consequence.
My power is
knowing that if I say
or do or say that thing again,
I will suffer again,
therefore, I don't repeat
it.

Second, If I see someone
pay a price for something
they've done. I avoid doing
what they did to avoid
paying the price.

I know...it sounds simple,
but what makes this gift
special is that there are
so few who know how to do it.

People who posess this
super-power are very hard
to find.....but my search

I would want the ability to have whatever power i would need at the time..

reading minds = learning things that ultimately you will wish you never knew. (thoughts are all too often temporary)

invisible = (same thing) but i would love this...

immortal = could have it's good points... as long as you have a happy life, but i have no desire to watch my loved ones die over and over again..

fly = kewl
breathe water = except for the pressure issue, would be really kewl.
move things with mind = way too much power for some people to deal with

kill w/out punishment = happens all the time, but to have a legit gift.. could have it's good points..

walk through walls = kewl

all of these things could be great.... so i would want pretty much all of them..

but i would want to power to forgive, to forget.. and the power to be loved.. and the power to heal!!!! Heal anything..

I think that i would like that the most...
