I'm sure some of you have heard of how Taco Bell is using cattle feed in it's bread products. Now wether this is true or not I am not certain, but even if it is why would that surprise/outrage you?

Let's look at it from a distance. Farmer Brown takes the cattle feed, goes thorugh a process, a barely distinguishible group of cow cattle eat the feed and money is made.

This just shows us what our role in society is, cattle period. Please don't talk about how we are individuals thus are not cattle because that is irrelevent. Cats are about as individualistic as we are.

Which lets Kentucky Fried Chicken shoot down that point. If Whiskers manufactures Tuna flavored food we accept that there ain't an ounce of Tuna in there its all done in a lab and we accept that. Now let's assume that it's true that KFC grows it's chickens in tubes, we should count ourselves lucky there IS chicken DNA in there somewhere so there shouldn't be a problem but no hipocrsy (which comes to our species as easy as breathing) gets us outraged by the practises of these companies.

Why can't we just accept our role and move on? (Let's see how many of you use the voice box in your reasons)

Cattle feed in my chalupa?? ? I think it still tastes pretty damn good.

I think this problem is minescule compared to the mad cow disease. I hear that disease has started to spread again. This time mostly in France. I don't care for French people that much but I wouldn't wish something like this on those frogs.

I think I'll eat taco bell tommorrow. If I'm not heard from again someone at least sue them and make some money.. .

Tanis, if it is your goal to imply that those who choose to eat what you call sub-par food are sub-par themselves for no other fact.. well... I have no nice way of putting it, but you get my drift.

Look, some of us are of the mindset that if it keeps you alive, it's ok. No, I do not trust the government to tell me that a foodstuff is safe. They are ok with the fact that 40 rat hairs in a 14 oz. jar of peanut butter is a neccessary evil. Anyone down with that is not looking out for my best interets.

But because Snrub, I, and others choose to knock back a Whopper every now and then does not make us cattle.

As a counterpoint I offer this. What if those who buy into the anti-establishment movement are the true cattle? "Anti-establishment" being invoked herein as the people who would tell me that persons eating the same shite as a head of cattle are cattle themselves.

King I think that I have misrepresented myself. I'm not anti establishment, nor anti-american (The difference between America and Canada is the fact that were different colors in the atlas. http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/wink.gif ) I eat at places like Taco bell, Burger King, McDonalds, KFC all the time. (Excluding Wendy's any place that can give me food poisoning with Ice Tea is a place I don't want to be.) It tastes great, I'm there.

I'm sure goneaway can testify that I am close to a marketter's dream consumer. Even though your...limited definition would make me otherwise. At work when I eat lemon tarts they go on about lemon flavoring being lice repellent my reply is "Great if Lice ever evole to an internal organism I'm safe guarded." If I go to Taco Bell for lunch and they say something about the first word out of my mouth is "Moo!".

But i am straying from my original point in this post. The reason i started this thread was too see how many people did not accept the fact that companies did this, or how many people still believed they were higher than the cow and why.
