or if someone with access fucks shit up on it. (usually don't have to reboot it, just easier - and I'm too lazy to take all the optional steps - I can't be bothered). :P
9 times out of 10, I usually just restart the webserver which doesn't involve restarting the actual box...but sometimes that is easier. Restarting the webserver is almost transparent to anyone on the site. (unless they click on something in the 1.6 seconds or less that it takes to restart it).
