I was witness to one of the most appalling things last night. I've seen some silly shit guys, but this...

Here's the setup. My 2 roomies and I sally forth to a bar that is having an amateur boxing night. no biggie, methinks. Just gonna kick back and watch some people beat the fuck outta each other, cool by me. Thing is, they had "RingGirls" from the crowd come up into the squared circle betwixt rounds of drunken fools pinwheeling at each other. Again, no biggie, some of them were quite nice to look at.

Then came the "Dance Off"......

here were 3 girls up there, one of which was VERY drunk, and could hardly keep her tits in her dress ( http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/smile.gif) Anyway, the flopper, as she will be called from herein, was one of the BIGGEST attention whores it has ever been my sad misfortune to gaze upon. When any of the other girls would go to shake their thang, the flopper would immediately get right back in the mix, literally throwing the other chicks out of the way.

The prize up for grabs was a $50 bar tab.

Now, I can see the point of 2 people getting into a boxing ring to physically compete against one another. This much makes sense to me. But the flopper was an abomination of womanhood. Why is it that some people feel the need to validate their worth as an individual based solely on their looks?

Back in high School I might have tried to get with this chick. Last night all I wanted to do was kill the poor creature and end it's suffering.

I agree. It's pathetic how women like that think they have nothing better to offer or believe that their purpose in life is to make men look at them. I used to get really pissed when I'd go to a club and no one would give me the time of day...but then I learned that I didn't want to be seen as a tramp, and I definately like being "that mysterious chick in the corner." That's sexier than running around topless, in my opinion. I'll get my men with my mind, not with my body.

I actually screamed like a fool for the one chick who kept getting knocked outta the way by the flopper, just so she would win.

I wont lie and say I didint look at the floppers goods, but I also wont lie by saying the the word attractive means nothing but fleshy goodness to me.

Allow me to say this much. My father, the only full time role model I had, thaught me to be a misogynist prick, and that's a part of the reason my marrige failed. Me being the inquisitive fucker I am, I had to step back and look it all over. Why did things run the course that they had?

And I came up with this. I was taught wrongly, and the only thing I could do to change it was to un-learn all the bad habits/modes of thinking, and learn good ones.

If I could do this, then anyone can.

There's more, but i can't remember them.

I do prefer attractive women, to be sure. But if they are an idiot it is the biggest turnoff. And i only fuck people i care about. It does make it better.

Sorry to veer so far off topic and be personal, but do you mostly blame yourself for the failure of your marraige? Also how/why do you think mine will?

Not really, it took two of us to get hitched, as it took the same two to fuck ti all up. WEre she more supportive of me whn I came home from work dead tired, slaving for the pay to keep us going, I know I would have been a lot cooler about it.

And if you walk into a situation, like marrige, thinking it doomed, it is. THe only way to make something like that work is to go at it with the train of thought that it's the 2 of you against life, not each other.
