I've heard that in Japan cops have to get paperwork filed to get a gun issued to them, and that's for a tempoary time only! What utter shit.

Actually, it does work. Look at Japan and Australia. look at our levels of death to handguns per 100,00 people. Look how much incredibly fucking lower it is than in America. Sure, a few guns do slip into the country, but on balance i'd rather risk the minute chance of going up against someone with a gun without one of my own than live in a society of constant fucking combat where 14 year blow eachother away at school.

But that's just me, i guess.
