Here's a tough one:


Once upon a time, I used to frequent a coin operated racquetball court.

It was a building that someone plopped down in the middle of a plot of asphalt. The owners were hoping to attract the attention of the strip-mall stores surrounding that wonderful behemoth.

My friends and I would chip in for two-hour night games just to max out, cool down and listen to our "profound" thoughts return to us in almost unintelligible echoes.

Every visit was punctuated by an emotion and several open-ended questions.
