View Full Version : What would you build?

This is one of those questions that is ripe with potential. It depends on your imagination and interests.
Back in January, I came across a company that can accept CAD files of various formats and construct parts to create "toys". You can also send them a picture of someone (font view and side view) and they'll put it on an action figure.
Oh, and Poteen? If those Poser files are still around (v4.0), they can build from those as well.
Take a look (http://www.toybuilders.com) at the site then share your ideas here. I have some designing to do.

A balsa wood bust of Kol to use as a nosecone on an Estees rocket. It could be used later as a wine stopper.
Can you send them a picture of your penis and have them make "Captain phallus" the squirting avenger and friend to all ladies?

Woof.
If it's so sick, why are you laughing?

The rocket would fly off course and the wine would mysteriously vanish in the middle of the night. http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/smile.gif I'll get to work on it.
The only design limitation dealt with safety. Even so the description was vague. Look at the FAQ.

DB: here's a tip - if your rocket's rated for a smaller engine, don't use the most powerful one you can find. I suspect if you scan the skies you might find mine orbiting...damned friends..
I'd probably make a pendant or something for my chain. Dunno what it'd be though.

If I can dig up the CAD I did of the solar system, I think I'll submit it for an estimate. It was to scale. I wonder how they'll deliver it...

Dear sir your scale model of the universe was completed last night while you slept. To save space we replaced the old universe with the one you ordered. It is such a perfect copy I bet you will not be able to tell the difference. Technically you now own the universe but some people are in denial and will not agree with you. Keep this e-mail as a receipt and please complete the following invoice and send your payment in weapons grade plutonium in the amount of
999999999999999999999999999999999999999999 billion tons payable in thirty business days or your warranty will be void and we will allow the universe to collapse into an adjacent dimension.
Thank you for your purchase.

I'd love to have a suit of pwered armour, all Shogun Warrior looking ( or Tranzor Z for the purists). Nothing as clunky as what Ripley had in Aliens, but more sleek and streamlined. Yeah, like the suit the guy had in Spriggan.
And to thing that just today I was contemplating just how difficult it would be to weld hardened steel into a honeycomb for robot armor.</FONT c>

Maybe we should scale back a bit. I don't think I could fit the Solar system in my spare bedroom.
I'm seriously thinking about dolls with my kids' faces.
How about a HyperChessBoard? We already have a Bishop http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/smile.gif

I'd build a Lightsaber , then I'd kill you all with it right before I sodomise your mother with it.

Look out for Mom's roundhouse. It might not look good on your resume if you get your ass kicked by an old lady.
We're taking pictures of the kids tomorrow just for this. (not the lightsaber assfucking fantasy. Reality-based stuff).
I also found a Rama CAD that has potential.

We all seek oblivion - this world is a sad veil of tears and only through denial of the self can tranquility be obtained.

I would get a doll made of whatever my little sister wanted. She collects em, and damnit, I love her, so that's what I would do.
I dont have much use for toys, so I probably wouldn't spend any money there, except for maybe gag gifts for friends.... http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/biggrin.gif

I'd have them build an action figure of me. The world's newest superhero. They'd have to put a pull-string in the back to play theme music, though. Every superhero has to have theme music.
