My First...

I got my first tattoo last night!! It is a sun with the moon and stars in it. Every one I talked to said it hurt like hell, it wasn't that bad. Don't get me wrong I could have lived without it. Honestly, when my foot went to sleep it hurt worst than all the needles going in my back http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/smile.gif

I didn't think I was going to actually have the nerve to do it...I found out I wasn't a wimp after all http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/biggrin.gif

I think I'm going to get another one later. I have an obsession with frogs, so I might get a tree frog on my Ass.

Generally, the fleshier the area, the less it will hurt. The one on my neck really didnt hurt all that much either, so there is also the skill of the artist doing the work. But the inside of my arm was an exercise in patience. It hurt a good deal, but hey, I wanted it done, so I had to bear with the guy.
Another thing is that the further to the outside the body part is (i.e. outer arm, shoulder...) The less it will hurt. These areas get roughed up more than the inner thigh, so it just goes to flow that they are a bit less sensitive.

Heres a mental for you...
Its the sun with the moon and stars inside the sun. The rays of the sun are tipped with red and turn from orange to yellow. The inside is black with the exception of the stars and the moon which has highlights of blue in it http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/tongue.gif

I have a tattoo on my back..nothing big...but I would like a dragon accross the top of my back, and maybe one on my calf. Dragons kick ass.
