I have a request, which I will address to the Forum at large because frankly, I've no idea who is in charge here anymore.
Would somebody, PLEASE, fix the damned search function? I have repeatedly searched for words and phrases in the archives which I know are there only to get a smart-ass little notice box telling me no results found.
For example, on at least two occasions in posts on this board, I have used the name of an author - Spider Robinson. Yet a search by that name, with and without capitals, with and without putting in my own user name as the poster, limited to one forum at a time or searching all forums, returns nothing.
