I think it is time the U.S. took some initiative. Nuke the rest of the world (except where the rest of you tribals reside http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/wink.gif), take it over, legalize pot (heh heh heh), loosen up, get their act together, so we can all live in blissful harmony...

1.) I dont know how 19 countries can have so much sway out of 54, especially with the U.S. excluded
2.) Nations who run their govt. in tryannical ways (dictators,communism, ect.), treat their people in a way that doesn't allow them much of a chance to stand up for themselves, or rebel against the way that they lead. Why? because those leaders will most definitely lose their power. And they dont like it when nations like the U.S., ect. come and tell them that they are wrong in the way that they treat their people, cause that will only start the ball rolling on giving the power back to the people of that nation.

My parents are charasmatic christians. They beat the Bible into my head enough for me to know what happens after this.

I don't think that the US will be controlled outright per ce, but that article shows that there is potential for the US to be controlled in a more weasle-like-behind-the-scenes way.

If things keep headed in this direction, I can easily forsee the president announcing to the people...

"This is for the best. We had the country in mind when making this decision"

Does anyone else see this article as a way to compromise the US's power? Perhaps its just my off-the-wall-pro-conspiracy way of thinking. </FONT c>

But communism can be good. All of my friends from Bosnia say that before their great leader died (I could never remember, or pronounce his name) they lived like kings. America is SHIT compaired to how life was, FOR EVERYONE IN BOSNIA. Now, mind you, that doesn't mean that I approve of Communism, but for people who just want to lead a normal boring life, ie: AMERICANS, a setup like old school Bosnia (as described to me by Bosnians, at least) would be pretty phat. Not for me, Canada here I come.
