Use hammers, rubber mallets or sledge hammers anymore. Shattered some supposedly completely shatter-proof tool thingy used to hammer the caps back on the guns. Harley, my trainer, told me get the rubber mallet and rare back and hit it as hard as I could. I did. Some of the pieces should be hitting the US coastline in the next day or so.
Not allowed to use cheater-bars anymore.
The gun caps have to be tightened to 950 foot pounds of torque. Harley told me to use a cheater bar and go at it as hard as I could. Too bad those things are so damned expensive. They shouldn't be for they break too easy. Supposedly rated to over 2000 foot pounds of torque my ass. Can't use cheater bars anymore. Dammit...
Needless to say the folks around here are starting toi learn how to phrase things better in relation to me. Hard as you can= get it tight. Very tight= don't strain. Tight= hand tight. Snug= use yer damn fingers. Etc...
