Because I love bowling and many people think it's an idiotic sport. I love to bowl and was wondering if I'm in the minority or majority here, is all.

I once bowled a THREE.

Yes... as in knocking down a total of three pins.

I don't think I've been since. Let me have the bumpers back, and I'll consider it.

I'm very good at bowling, only did it once, but I was good enough to piss off the regulars big time.

Don't look at me. I am the guy who rolled a strike on the lane 3 lanes over. The damn ball slipped after my feet slipped and went bouncing over lanes... got some free beer out of it though so it wasn't all bad.

God, if rental shoes bother you, never go to (or work at) a climbing gym.

I still have nightmares about the wretched stank of lysol-saturated rental shoes.

I've bowled a few times. It has a sensible amount of fun involved.

But the best is merely going to a bowling alley and watching the regular bowlers. The haircuts, the clothing, the ATTITUDE of the good bowlers. It's a unique subculture ready for me to make fun of it.

Add beer = good times.

I also love to bowl. When I was a teenager, I bowled in a league. We were living in Turkey at the time and there wasn't a whole lot to do after school. So everyone bowled.
I did pretty well. During one season my average was a 224. I haven't bowled much since I've been back in the States, but I do like it.
