View Full Version : He knows I'm up to something
A certain boy I know is graduating from college on Saturday. I thought about sending him and his bandmates pizza the night before. I couldn't get the address from him. He knows I'm up to something. So my second choice was to send a romantic gesture. It backfired a little. He thought that the romantic gesture I was sending was ME! Now the dozen boxed longstem red roses won't be nearly as exciting. I shoulda stuck with the Pizza. :)
..And he got the flowers a few minutes ago. His friend was in the truck with him, He told his friend that something was up. He will now be made fun of for the rest of his natural Texan life.

Now he must move to Oregon, he will never live down the Roses.
Women? Ever send a guy flowers?
Men? Ever send a woman flowers that she rejected?
Does anyone have a no flower policy? Or a no present policy?
Just to close this out-
I was just about the only one to notice that he closed a two year chapter in his life with an outstanding achievement. None of his family showed up, no one took him out to dinner, there were no cards. Then his band -of five years or so- dissolved. I'm glad I sent the flowers. Sorry that I couldn't send myself.

That was a bit crappy of his family. I'm sure he appreciated the flowers. From memory the only time I've sent guys flowers are when family members have died, although I suspect beer and pizza probably would have been better.
I don't want to dislike his family from the start. I have yet to meet a single one of them. But yeah, that WAS pretty crappy. I am going to send him a little "happy box". Pizza gift certificate, drinking games, and a little vooodoo kit. Should make him smile.

Pictures of your breastages are a surefire way to make him smile. Plus its economical and easy. Post them here and send him the URL.
