I seem to have fallen into it.

Beyond that, I am a bit lost for words. I am so indescribably happy.

After a particularly bad year of getting my heart crushed and drop-kicked and torn apart in various ways (and unfortunately leaving my fair share of broken hearts as well), I happened to meet this boy. He doesn't live near me right now, so it has been several agonizingly long months of using 1500+ cell minutes and counting down the days til the next visit. Soon, we will be living in the same town.

He treats me so amazingly well, and thinking about him puts a big smile on my face. I don't remember feeling this good about anything in as long as I can remember, or caring so deeply about anybody. I am so lucky.

I hope all of you are fortunate enough to feel about somebody as I do about Matt, and to have that feeling returned.

:)

His flight gets in at 10:40 tomorrow (Thurs) morning. We're driving straight up into the White Mountains, hiking in 7 miles, setting up camp & dining before dark, and then making a 1.5-mile midnight hike-by-headlamp up to the summit. Here, we will watch the 2am Friday peak of the Perseids (don't miss it!) from a hammock. We will stay Friday night as well, and Saturday (3 months from when we met, on one quite fortunate Friday the 13th) we will hike down in time to make it to my going-away party. Sunday we're sleeping late and going climbing, and he leaves at 6am on Monday.

I promise pictures.
