I took a couple of days and a couple of offspring to see my mom.
Two days can generate so many stories.
I'm glad I still have the spare hat. It may burst if I don't let some of them out so be patient while I make one or two worth your time.

This is a pic I took of my mom during my visit.
She's 81.
She was cooking for my children when I made a "Say Cheese!"
I didn't set up ANYTHING. I snuck up and snapped a pic.
See what you see. I already know what I see.
My Coincidence.

Our conversations were full of "scenic routes" as Sid calls them. Wonderful voyages through a mind that recalls all and hesitates only when someone needs her to reach her mental destination.
We had a mutual stopping point while trying to put a name to the face of Marlin Brando but it was while we we were both on a memory trip that went far into both of our pasts, late at night with our feet kicked up.
My kids love my mom for good reason.
She may not be a saint. She may not practice an organized religion.
I, for one of many, think that she is God Blessed.
I'm fortunate in that the angel who called me is still here.
BTW, her drug is LIFE. She has no others. I'm working on learning the other secrets.

Wow. Your mother looks very young and that's not the makeup. Her skin looks very healthy. Hell, she looks full of life.
Tell her I love her and to send money soon!

Kol's mom can work circles around any and all of us.
I have to, for once, agree with billyman
she does look very young for her age.
Good pic Kol. :)

With both of my grandmas passing before I was born, would you please ask her to adopt one orphan from Utah?

I hope it's been enough time for me to point out the coincidental halo and wings in the pic.
In my line of work there's no such thing as coincidence. - God
especially when halos and wings are involved ;)

I call her Mom.
SLH and the rest of his generation call her grandma.
The newest additions to the tree call her G'g.
