Birthday Woes

Today is my birthday. Wheee! (sarcasm inserted here) I've already "celebrated" per ce. Kiwitrip bought me a ticket to the Electic Daisy Carnival. It was a lot of fun.

My mother sent me a birthday card. Yes. You read correctly. My *mother* sent me a birthday card. (insert resentment here) Enclosed in the card, was a check and a sweet little message saying "Call us anytime, we miss you".


Gee thanks mother. Its nice that after so many years, you finally gave me money out of your own pocket. Its very touching, but I'm afraid your still on my shit list. I've decided I'm going to call President Bush and ask him for his "Veto" stamp. I plan to have it shipped to me, stamp my mother's check and card, then place it in a silver frame. I'll call now...


(insert arguing with receptionist here)


Hmm. Looks like its not going to happen. Ahh well, I'll substitute the stamp with a red sharpe marker and write "FUCK YOU" on it instead.

Last night I conversed with a bottle of rum and a few close friends. Its been awhile since I've spoken to Mr. Barcardi... we needed to have a few "words".
