Yeah skalie, it was mine.
Asmo, I grew out of it a long time ago and had to get a bigger one.
And where I use to be "cute", now I'm HOT!
Don't you know Billyman only wears black dresses. The black slinky ones. He's so purty in them.

I just got a chilling visual of Billy wearing fishnets. I need to go wash my brain out with soap.
(BTW, the munchkin looks great in those pics! )

Holly had her First Communion yesterday.
Sid's stepmom made the dress. The night it arrived, Holly lit up like a halogen lamp and begged to try it on. I figured we should do it up right so she went upstairs to change while we waited.
When she reached the foot of the stairs and stepped around the corner, a collective sigh filled the room. Nathan was the first one to speak; "Wow, Holly!"
I had trouble saying anything while my mind raced into the future and witnessed proms, senior dances, weddings. I couldn't help but let a tear or three get past the failsafe I'm supposed to have intalled. Must need a tune-up. The big stupid grin that requested permission to contort my face, however, had full approval so I let it go to town.
Holly was barefoot and her hair was messed up but I honestly didn't notice until Sid pointed it out to me the next day.
She did really well at the ceremony until she heard Nathan. Even then she did great.
See, Holly was at the front of the church with the rest of the first-timers. When Nathan (who was with us about a third of the way back) saw Holly, he wanted to go to her.
"There she is! My Holly!"
Of course, we couldn't turn him loose to run to her so he got pissed off and chanted, "my Holly!" With an occasional, "stop it! Let go!"
Not loud enough to be bothersome to the rest of the congregation (most smiled and "awwww"ed) but loud enough to get Holly's attention.
She told us later that she started to cry a little because she wanted to hug him and tell him everything was ok.
Awwwwwww....
Well, so anyway, we got a new camera for the event and I can't think of a better place to share some pics of her than right in this here thread.
If you zoom in on her little finger, you can see me wrapped tightly around it.
Addendum: I asked Nay to stike a pose for the camera. He held that one for a good 45 seconds while I tried to stop laughing. Told me later that he was being a "monster dinosaur robot".

Time to gloat my friend. Times like these are when you regurgitate your pride rather that swallowing it.
Damn good looking little whipper snappers.
Stand proud to have two children as beautiful as those. And be very proud of Holly for her recent traditional followings and the celebration that surrounds it.
w00t man! w00t!!!

What Billy said - I'm at a loss for words.
Sometimes kids amaze the hell out of me.
Kol, she's beautiful. You have 2 gorgeous kids there.

Yer kids kinda sorta look like Tripp and Val's, no offense - any chance we can get their sprats' pics up?

Even though I don't think any of those kids look like our kids :) - I'm not real sure why anyone would take offense if they did - we have beautiful children.
I'll have to wait till I get home to put a pic up of them..

I heard a baby cry today and it sounded just like mine. Something inside me caused me to go on "alert". If I'd had sirens and lights bolted to my skull they would have been activated. I fixed "it".
Could be that I look weird. Could be that I have an aura. I dunno what it was but the baby went from "Hissy Fit" to "Giggles and Coos". The mom appreciated the help. To me, it was like helping someone with a flat tire; use the tools that you have and maybe the person you help will help someone else someday.
I'm 40 and bald on the outside. I expect (and hope) that I'll get older and grow mounds of hair in and outside my ears. Hopefully my grandchildrens' parents will explain my sense of humor to them. First, my kids need to "get it".
Val, your kids look beautiful. I can say that before you even post a new pic here.
Your children look like mine. I'm proud of the resemblance.
