**edit**

ok, simon had several threads about Jose Padilla

the search engine was no help

http://www.thehypertribe.net/forum/showthread.php?t=6273

I was going to put this in one of the other threads in order to top it, but instead I'll dump it here

usatoday op/ed (http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&ncid=742&e=1&u=/usatoday/20050304/cm_usatoday/padillasindefinitedetentionputsyourrightsatrisk)

Knowing only what I've read in the many inter-web article I must say that if history doesn't recall Jose Padilla's imprisonment exactly the way this guy wrote it then we are doing our great grandchildren a disservice.

Welcome aboard - no, no, step right up, there's lots of room, this band-wagon is nearly empty.

Fear your national government, my fellow Americans.

Constitutional rights have been down graded to mere priviledges that can be revoked instantly and completely by our corrupt elected sheep herders.

We need to charge him or let him go. Seems easy enough. Two years ago I might have thought the government had some "hush, hush" reason for keeping him but am pretty sure it would have leaked out by now if we did.

This sheep suit is very itchy. It messes up my fur, and sometimes gets stuck in my fangs.
