i got a job

i start tomorrow. it's at a local small town newspaper. it's a stupid job for very little money entering the classified ads into the computer, but there is room for rapid advancement and pay raises, since little papers are always short handed. the lady couldn't believe i had a college degree and i was willing to start out doing the data entry. she said "you will get a raise" and i replied "i know". it pretty much was like me walking in and everyone, including the guy who i'm assuming is the senior editor, simply because he was dressed better than everyone else, parting the way and letting me through. i'm really looking forward to tomorrow.

i know it doesn't sound like it, but i work in publishing!
