I have no idea if you guys get this in the states, or wherever else you are, but hey.

Today was hot. Really hot. I love hot weather, and it totally cheers me up. I was having a lovely time, having returned from college, sunbathing on my garage roof, when suddenly in the distance, I hear "Greensleeves" being played on a horrific "ding dong" loudspeaker... this can only mean one thing.

Shame the bastard drove away by the time I'd jumped off my garage roof, writhed on the concrete floor in pain for a while, and then limped to the origin of the music.

Sorry for the uselessness of the thread. I thought it had to be said somewhere, and... well, blah.

Yes I remember the Ice cream Man when I was a kid. The truck was nice and clean neatly painted and he drove slowly.

Now the truck leans to one side, is rusty, has hand painted signs on it and the guy flies around the nieghborhood looking for kids. I guess there is't as much money in it these days.

i live in what is called a cul-de-sac. this forms a tunnel-type acoustic effect, and it magnifies the tinny music and reflects it directly into my window. the ice cream man coming is almost cause for alarm.
