Fahrenheit 9/11 (I guess we never had a subject on it)

It came in the mail today (woot netflix).

I watched it.

It was extremely onesided. However it was also very imformative. I'd like something to counter it, something stating facts which may offset what Moore has presented. I just don't know if they exist.

If there is one conclusion I can draw from this, it's no different than one I've drawn before; Bush really is a dumbass.

There are some portions of the movie which seem staged or not quite accurate. The FBI bustin' down the door of some elderly dude? That seems a bit. . .off. But then again, there is a lot of weird shit going on.

The segment on the Patriot Act was interesting. As was the segment(s) on Flint, MI.

Gimme feedback.

With the hype the Columbine thing created by this nitwit, I am almost afraid where this will lead. Saying the entire episode of Columbine was because of guns. Oh sure, I for one have never heard that before- the guns made me do it. pffft. *waves finger around* Like the fat man saying the cheeseburger made him do it. You really should it. It's not going to corrupt your fragile mental state. It's simply providing (very one-sided) information. If the emotional bullshit is left out there are some very interesting facts. Truthfully, the Bush administration seemed to have made some VERY large flipflops (see WMDs). Going from the Summer before 9/11/01 claiming, essentially, Sadam is a little puppy tied down with steel chains in the middle of a desert with only water and a few milkbones, to claiming Sadam is a rabid pitbull bent on consuming all the world's babies.

I've got FahrenHYPE 9/11 queued up. . .probably going to watch it midweek. Hopefully it will offset the Moore propaganda.

at the end of roger & me I was left with feeling that the images I had seen and th esounds I had heard where real (hence "documentary") while michael moore's opinion was crystal clear it seemed that what he had done was show us how many of the real ppl who lost their jobs saw this and what they felt about it.

billionaires having lavish parties while thousand sof employees live in squalor and many get evicted because they can't find good jobs.

that's how they SEE it.

I didn't agree with his ideas about how to fix it, but then I don't have to.

Michael Moore is one of the most intelligent dumbassess I’ve ever seen. He’s so one-sided I’m surprised he can stand erect let alone walk in a straight line.

He wants to show “truth” but this truth lurks in his own shadows. He preaches and lectures “truth” to all but it’s his truth as he would believe it to be. Not necessarily as it is. Hey, I don’t like Bush either but there again I can’t stand Kerry. Moore is 100% Democrat from fat role to fat role and to him; there is nothing in between Democrat and Republican.
